2011 Acura RL U.S. pricing announced

Amid efforts to regain their statuses as design leaders, Honda and Acura have revealed the pricing and the specs of their 2011 models. The ZDX is unchanged while the mid-cycle RL received a few updates but is mostly the same as when it first came out in 2004. The prices for the 2011 lineup range from $47,200 to $55,150. Three tiers are offered, namely: the standard RL, the RL with Technology Package, and RL with Advanced Package. For the tech package, buyers have to add $4,150 to $51,350 and another $3,800 to $55,150 for the "advanced" gear.

These prices represent a $370 increase for the base and $900 for the Technology and Advanced packages. All 2011 models were fitted with a new grille, new wheel designs, a new interior color and wood trim option, and improved stitching on the steering wheel. Other available upgrades include back-up sensors, a revised back-up camera angle, and improved hands-free Bluetooth dialing.

"The RL continues to set the benchmark for the innovative use of customer-relevant technology," said Jeff Conrad, vice president of Acura sales. "There aren't many production cars at any price that offer more advanced technology or drive system sophistication." [via-4wheelsnews] The new Acura RL 2011 Photos
