Peugeot 907 Concept top speed

The Peugeot 907 is a concept car from Peugeot. Revealed first at the Paris motor show in 2003, the car was created by styling chief Grard Welter and designer Jean-Christophe Bolle-Reddat to celebrate the closure of the firm's 40- year-old design centre at La Garenne, and the opening of a new one at Vlizy. The car wasn't designed to go into production, but just to be a prototype for featuring Peugeot's new designing techniques. The engine mounted just behind the front wheels and side exhausts exit behind each of the front wheels. Unlike many concepts, the 907 was capable of being driven like a real car. Under the bonnet, two 3.0-litre V6 engines are joined together to form a 500bhp V12. The monocoque body is made of carbon fiber, and there's double-wishbone suspension all round, while a sequential-shift transmission distributes power to the rear wheels. The arcing windscreen continues upwards to form the roof, while the bonnet has a see-through perspex insert that reveals the engine's 12 intake trumpets.

BMW X1 Concpet Car

BMW has unveiled their X1 concpet and will make its formal world premier at the Paris Motor Show in a few days time. BMW X1 will sit right under the X3 competing against the likes of the Toyota RAV-4, VW Tiguan and of course, the forthcoming Audi Q3.

For the design, the car is no beauty when compare to others. The X1s concave body surfacing and detailing bring to mind the X3 and X5 while the front end with the large headlights and oversize kidney grilles are apparently inspired from the new 7-Series.

However for the interior, there is no pictures about the car but we believe that the interior styling will mix elements from both the 1-Series and X3. The car will also equipped with BMW's xDrive all-wheel-drive system.

Mansory Mercedes-McLaren SLR Renovatio

Mansory has revealed its second appearance kit for the Mercedes-McLaren SLR Renovatio with a two-tone, black and white, color scheme. The car is equipped with lighter components such as the ultra-light forged wheels and lighter carbon fiber body parts to reduce the weight. Besides that, the car is also equipped with new side skirts and rear wheel arch extensions. While for the front apron, it is designed to channel the air to the intercoolers and the rear apron with an integrated diffuser provides additional downforce.

For the interior, the car comes with leather and carbon fiber trim and new aluminum pedals and illuminated door tread plates.

Performance wise, the car is powered by a supercharged 5.5-liter V8 engine that produces 700 hp (522 kW) and 650 lb-ft (880 Nm) of torque. The power increase is made possible with the installation of Mansory custom supercharger, high flow exhaust system and a reprogrammed ECU. With all the performance parts added in to the car, it is able to accelerate from 0 to 100km/h faster than the stock model and capable to have a top speed at 340km/h.

Lamborghini "Urus" concept teaser shot #4

Here here is another image that Lamborghini has just released the fourth consecutive teaser photo of its surprise Paris Show debut. The new photo reveals the mystery vehicles front headlamp and well, thats about it. Makes you wonder how many other pictures will the Italian sports carmaker release before it actually shows us the whole car.

Audi S3 equipped with 7 speed DSG

Audi has unveiled their new 2009 S3 and it is available in either the three-door style or the more practical Sportback five-door hatch. The car is equipped Equipped with a high-pressure 2.0-liter turbo engine with 265-horsepower and 258 lb-ft of torque, the S3 able to accurate from 0 to 100km/h by just 5.5 seconds, all while getting nearly 30 miles per gallon. Making the most of that power is the firm's new seven-speed twin-clutch S-Tronic gearbox, which we've had nothing but good things to say about in its past six-speed incarnation. The car will also include twin steering wheel-mounted paddle shifters, another first for the S3.
