Renault will debut �dramatic� next-gen supermini Clio in Paris in autumn 2012

Making its public debut at the Paris Motor Show in autumn 2012 is the next generation of Renault�s supermini, which will be given dramatic Dezir-inspired styling cues. In an Autocar interview, Renault sales and marketing boss Steve Norman said that the Dezir �directly inspired� the Clio 4 and so the engineers have aimed for it to look as close as possible to the concept. Other sources said that the entry-level Clios will feature a �stretched� stance.� A source said that even the basic Clio 4s will have a dramatic look. The taut lines of the Aston Martin V8 Vantage had inspired design boss Laurens van den Acker. At some point, Steve Norman�s own Aston had been stationed in the studio.[via - 4wheelsnews]
