The new Mercedes-Benz Viano Avantgarde Edition 125 was recently launched. Daimler describes it as a blend of MPV, saloon and sports car. It is available starting this spring in two different lengths: compact and long. The Edition 125 of the Viano Avantgarde combines an attractive appearance with selected equipment and a dynamic drive system. The Viano Avantgarde Edition 125 comes in obsidian black or brilliant silver metallic colors, and features 19-inch, 16-spoke light-alloy wheels. It has high-gloss chromed exterior mirror housings, side skirts and chrome trim on the front bumper, and chromed rear trim on the tailgate. The interior of the Viano contains elements that make it stylish. It has sporty, comfortable leather seats (Lugano leather or the Twin DINAMICA microfibre surface are available).
It also has a cockpit with a white scale illumination for the instruments, and sports pedals in brushed stainless steel with rubber studs. The decorative strips have a black or brown burr-walnut appearance. It features four individual seats for the passengers in the rear and these also have the same features as the ones in the front.
The seats have integral three-point seat belts, height-adjustable head restraints and adjustable armrests. When it comes to performance, the Viano Avantgarde Edition 125 is powered by two V6 units that are mated to an automatic transmission. The first is a V6 CDI 3.0 unit that develops 224 hp and 440 Nm (325 lb.ft.) of torque, enabling the car to go from zero to sixty in 9.1 seconds and reach a top speed of 201 km/h (125 mph). On the other hand, the 285 hp V6 3.5 petrol engine has an acceleration time of 10.4 seconds and top speed of 217 km/h (135 mph).[via - 4wheelsnews]
