Acura has announced that the 2011 ZDX will have a starting price of $46,505, a $150 increase over the 2010 model. Acura has very high hopes for the ZDX but through the end of November, only 3006 units have been sold. The 2011 ZDXs will still use Acuras 3.7-liter V-6 with an output of 300hp and will still be mated to a six-speed automatic transmission. Each ZDX will offer Super Handling All-Wheel Drive and 19-inch wheels as standard. The Technology Package ZDX is priced at $51,005 and features a navigation system that links to traffic and weather information, a keyless entry system, multi-view rear camera, and an advanced sound system.
The range-topping ZDX with the Advance Package offers high-tech features such as blind spot information system, adaptive cruise control, Collision Mitigating Braking System, perforated Milano leather, upgraded materials on the headliner, and the Integrated Dynamic System active damper system. Sales for the ZDX were slow even at the start when it was launched in December 2009 but so far, November 2010 has been ZDXs worst sales month.
"The ZDX is like nothing you have ever seen before from Acura," said Jeff Conrad, vice president of Acura sales. "It combines the best attributes of a coupe, a sedan and a sport utility all wrapped in a beautifully sculpted package that will attract an entirely new luxury customer to the Acura brand."
